Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge #72

This is the first time I've ever participated in the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge...so here goes nothing.  I had a friend who's brother died suddenly and decided to make the sympathy card using this sketch.  I started with Not Quite Navy as the base of the card.  I then ran a piece of Barely Banana through the big shot using the polka-dot embossing folder and layered that with a piece of Crumb Cake (AKA Kraft) after I'd distressed the edges a little.  I added a piece of whisper white satin ribbon down the center and ran some Bella Blue DSP (which will be retiring at the end of June...I'm depressed!!!) through the big shot using the Island Floral Die.  The sentiment was stamped using the Thoughts & Prayers stamp set on whisper white and was sponged with Crumb Cake Ink and then distressed, and then layered with Barely Banana, Crumb Cake, and Not Quite Navy...distressed (of course).  I love how it turned out and hope it brings my friend some comfort during her difficult time.  Let me know what you think!!!
